Troubleshooting prints
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Parts of the model are missing in the print | Walls thinner than your nozzle | Show wall thickness, then thicken red areas with Add or Inflate |
| Drooping or stringy undersides | Overhangs | Check the overhang view; turn the model, add supports in the slicer, or split it |
| Model is tiny or huge in the slicer | Export height set, or wrong units | Set export height to 0 for real size; Shapeaway exports in millimetres |
| Small loose specks in the slicer | Floating bits of clay | Remove floating bits |
| Model falls over on the bed | No flat base | Flat base, or add a base |
| Resin print cracked or cupped | Solid model, or a hollow with no drain | Hollow with a drain hole |
| Hair or spikes snap off | Too thin to print | Sculpt them thicker in clay, or leave hair out of print exports |
