Layer
Raises (or lowers) the surface by an even height, without stacking up where strokes overlap.
Shortcut: Shift + 4 · Toolbar: More brushes
How to use it
Section titled “How to use it”- Build armour plates, scale edges and cloth hems of even thickness.
- Overlapping strokes stay level, so you can work over an area freely.
- The height follows the brush size.
Modifiers
Section titled “Modifiers”| Hold | Effect |
|---|---|
| Ctrl or the pen’s eraser | Lowers the surface by an even depth. |
| Shift | Smooths for as long as you hold it. |
Size and strength: [ and ] (or Ctrl + mouse wheel) change the size, - and = the strength. With a pen, pressure sets both, through the pressure curve.
