Transform part of the clay

Press T (Move / turn / scale). A gizmo appears: drag its arrows to move, its rings to turn, and its handles to scale.

It acts on the unmasked clay, so mask what should stay put first. It can act on the masked clay instead.

While transforming, an amber mode pill shows and the context bar offers Apply, Reset and Cancel. Brushes wait until you apply or cancel.

Transform a whole object

Press O to move, turn and scale the selected object as a whole. This doesn’t change its clay, so it’s instant at any size. See Working with multiple objects.

Align to view

Objects › Align to view turns the selected object so the way you’re looking at it becomes its front, upright. Handy after importing a scan that came in at an odd angle.
